Michael has more than 15 years of teaching experience, having taught in schools, colleges, and universities in the UK, Qatar, Turkey, and Brunei. Michael graduated from King’s College, London, before completing a PGCE at the University of Cambridge. Later in his career, Michael was awarded an MA in TESOL with distinction from the University of Sunderland, and added the Cambridge Delta qualification to his resume in 2018.

He has previously worked as a lecturer in English for Academic Purposes at universities in the UK and Qatar, as an ESL Lead Teacher in Brunei, and as a secondary school teacher in the UK.

Michael is driven by a desire to combine high academic standards with the holistic development of young people to ensure his students are prepared to make a meaningful contribution to the world. Michael is accompanied to Malaysia by his wife and two children.
