Mr Kalischer studied Sport & Exercise Science at Liverpool John Moores University and graduated in 2007. He began his teaching career shortly after and completed his PGCE in Physical Education at The University of Exeter. 

Mr Kalischer has taught whole school Physical Education in the UK, USA, Shanghai & Malaysia. He has delivered IB Diploma in Sports, Exercise & Health and A-Level & GCSE Physical Education, whilst holding additional positions of responsibility including Head of PE, CAS Coordinator, Head of House and International Trip Leader.

Mr Kalischer was born and raised in Leeds, UK and is a lifelong sports enthusiast. He played representative football throughout his school days and continues to stay active. He moved to Malaysia in 2023, with his wife Laura and son Ezra.
