Repton International School builds on more than 460 years of tradition and philosophy, stemming from the first Repton School in the United Kingdom.
The city of Derby, England, saw the beginning of the Repton institution in 1557. Repton School in Derbyshire has since established itself as one of the most prestigious educational institutions in the United Kingdom, and has expanded its footprint with schools now in the United Arab Emirates, China, Egypt, Bulgaria and Malaysia.

Founder Sir John Port was an enlighted and generous benefactor, securing the establishment of Repton School through a provision in his will. Unbeknownst to Sir John Port, Repton School would go on to become a leading global educational provider for generations of pupils to come.
In partnership with Chip Eng Seng Corporation, 2020 saw Repton International School in Malaysia proudly become part of the Repton family, enjoying the many advantages of being a member of this global community. Pupils, staff, leaders and governors from Repton International School in Malaysia benefit significantly from the progressive, lively and forward-thinking educational dialogue amongst the great and diverse minds.
At Repton, we uphold our close connection to Repton School in the UK and with all Repton international schools across the globe, all of which embrace the same values and commitment to excellence.
