Repton International School gives me the opportunity to grow as a leader as it is really easy to get involved in the school community, from community service clubs to hosting fundraisers and more! The student environment at Repton is also more laid back and friendly which creates a lower stress environment that I am able to flourish in

It is an honour for me to be a part of Repton International School. This contributes to my development as an outstanding individual who excels in both academics and personal pursuits.

Covid-19 had a negative impact on our studies during my IGCSE year in Repton. I was very grateful to my school for their quick response in implementing online classes and keeping me up to date on the latest information about the pandemic. They even go out of their way to ask relevant authorities to allow us to return to school for a better study environment with more stringent SOP in place.

Repton also held a 30-minute section during lunch break at the library where teachers shared answering techniques to help us answer the exam paper more efficiently and accurately. It also assists us in clearly understanding how to answer the questions and receive the highest possible marks. Subject teachers are very concerned and care about our education, as evidenced by extra classes held over the weekend. Not only that, but each subject teacher offers after-class lessons where students can revise and seek clarification. Aside from academics, Repton cares about our health by offering fitness classes and various sports.

Repton International School is a good school with resilience and agility, and I strongly recommend it. It's a joy to be a Reptonian.

I like that the class is small because it allows me to get more attention from the teachers. Repton assisted me in broadening and understanding fundamental academic concepts through a well-organized teaching style and supportive manner, even during online lessons. I’m looking forward to my next adventure in Repton.

My daughter, Danielle Smith Cheah, completed her Year 8 at Repton rather well in July 2021 despite the disruption caused by the pandemic. She shared with me that she enjoyed her new class of Business Studies and French language during her physical and online lessons.

Danielle is a cohort student of Repton International School and the school before, since kindergarten and I am pleased with the smooth transition in her education at Repton thanks to the efforts of the teachers, Principal, and administrators of Repton. It does show that Repton having over 400 years of education experience and history, is able to provide agility and adaptability to plan and execute programs for her even a moment’s notice of a Covid lockdown. There was no pause nor need for pause by the School, in announcing or executing the programs during the pandemic.

She settled in very comfortably to the online classes. I am also constantly made aware of my child’s progress at school via emails from teachers and the School’s Engage portal. All these meet my expectations and I am sure, that of Danielle’s, too. I am eager for her to fully enjoy and take every advantage of the school come post Covid-19.

Danielle has been active in sports over the last five years and the School has been supportive of her interest and those of her friends in triathlon and opened also wider opportunities in team sports during their regular PE lessons. There is indeed a well-balanced education programme here, including pastoral care and the arts. I can engage in Danielle’s education, thanks in part to the communication structure the school has prepared.

The Repton team shared with us their vision and goals for the school here in Malaysia some two years ago and immediately set about improving the safety and appearance of the school. Even with obstacles due to Covid-19, the School managed to complete the first phase of improvements and is now embarking on the second phase of physical improvements. Danielle was fortunate to see and use the new facilities, albeit just for a while before online lessons had to commence again. She looks forward to returning to more improvements to her school environment in Year 9.

I believe the aims and goals of Repton will prepare her for the future. The online classes with all its psychological and technological challenges during the pandemic are also experiences and skills for her in the future.

My family has had an Anglo association in upbringing and education. My wife Wanda, my sister, my parents have all received their tertiary education from and in the UK. I, too, am a Chevening scholar of the British Government. I am indeed happy that Repton has allowed my wife and me to provide for our daughter that experience of British school education from an early age without having to leave Malaysia. I do take pride in being associated with an over 460-year old British institution with all its traditions, values, and successes. The teachers at Repton Malaysia are vast and varied and, this School has also the vast resources of the other Repton international schools globally. I understand that there will be yet change and growth for Repton this year as announced by the new principal, but I feel confident and am assured to Danielle completing her IB/A levels with Repton Malaysia.

My son started here the same year the school was founded. When we first came here, we were blown away by the environment, which included wide and open spaces, a large schoolyard, and a lot of nature surrounding the school. I thought it was an ideal environment for my son to grow up in.

The teachers and parents were friendly and helpful in our new life in Malaysia.

It's ideal for kids his age who want to get the most out of their bodies by participating in a variety of activities at various locations. My son became a member of a triathlon team and learned the value of perseverance. Teachers, staff, and parents have always been incredibly supportive.

The child's self-confidence grows as a result of education that recognises and respects each student's positive attributes. As a result, each child can express themselves without feeling compelled.

We parents participated in some school celebrations with traditional attire, such as Hari Raya, Deepavali, and Chinese New Year, and it is a wonderful moment for us.

We learned a lot about different cultures in Malaysia, which is a multi-ethnic country.

It's been our second year since the school switched to Repton, and I'm hoping for an interesting year with the same positive characteristics.

I’d like to thank the faculty and administration for their efforts in establishing Repton International School as one of the top schools in Malaysia for quality education at a reasonable price. Despite the difficult circumstances posed by the COVID situation, I am pleased with my son’s (Rayirth Singh) progress and the support he receives from his teachers.

Repton International School is a well-rounded school with diligent, passionate teaching staff and equally supportive management team. Overall we have been very satisfied and happy to be part of the Repton Community.

Repton International School has always been very willing to support my children on their journey of growth in school, emphasising not only their academic grades but also their personal growth. Besides these points, the caring staff body also creates an environment for my children to form tight-knit friendships!

The school has always excelled in specialist classes such as Music, Languages, Art , and Physical Education. We have always found these teachers to have a wealth of experience and a strong interest in their subject matter. This is evident in their instruction, and it has never failed to inspire our child.
