Christal brings a wealth of experience from the UK and joined the Repton Malaysia family in January 2023. After gaining her QTS status, she quickly became a Head of Year and implemented a plethora of mental health and wellbeing facilities for her cohort of 171 pupils, the largest in the school.

As well as having extensive experience in pastoral care, Christal also headed a number of reading and literacy programmes in her previous school aimed at lower attaining pupils and those pupils with additional educational needs. She is also trained to provide specific behavioural support and SEN plans for pupils.

Whilst in the UK, Christal began to solidify her pastoral knowledge by embarking on the NPQ for Leading Behaviour and Culture and will complete this in February 2023.

Christal enjoys reading, creative writing, Islamic studies and spending time with her husband and 2 children.
