Louren has been a teacher for over 20 years. She earned her Masters Degree in Special Education from New Era University and her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Philippines Normal University. Following that, she continued her studies and obtained the Montessori Certification for the primary level at Collin Community College in Plano, Texas, as well as the lower elementary Montessori Certification at North American Montessori Center while working for 6 years at North Garland Montessori School in Dallas, Texas. She spent 12 years of her 17 years in education working with children ages 3 to 6 years old using the Montessori Methodology. ITTT's Certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language is an additional qualification (International TEFL and TESOL Training). She has spent the last six years as a teacher at EIS / Repton International School, where she has gained experience and training in the PYP and IEYC curricula. She is constantly seeking to learn, grow, and find new ways to meet the needs of the children.
