Katie Roebuck

Head of Junior School

Katie has more than 10 years of teaching experience, having taught in schools in Bahrain, and across the United Arab Emirates. She has joined us from Repton Al Barsha where she focused on driving student attainment and curriculum development with a focus on Key stage 1. Katie graduated from Nottingham Trent University, Nottingham with a degree in Business Management, before completing a PGCE at the University of Buckingham. Later in her career, she has focused on developing her leadership skills and has completed a National Professional Qualification for Middle Leadership. 


Katie is passionate about developing the whole child, with the focus being on both academic success but also ensuring every child leaves the school with the skills needed to thrive in their wider lives and the abilities to adapt to the world around them. 


Katie also has a keen interest in student well-being and has completed a Yoga and Mindfulness for Children qualification. She is also interested in the Arts and Sports and has coached Junior School netball and ran a range of art after-school clubs such as jewellery making, painting and cookery.
