William Hughes

William Hughes is an English professional footballer who plays as a midfielder in the Premier League for Crystal Palace.

He was awarded a sports scholarship to attended Repton School where, as well as football, he also excelled at cricket and tennis. Will played for Repton's football team, scoring the final of the Independent Schools Football Association Cup in 2010.

He made his professional debut for Derby County in 20212/13 and soon attracted interest from many clubs across Europe. Hughes made his move to the Premier League with Watford in 2017, helping them Hornets reach the FA Cup final 2019. He signed for Crystal Palace in the summer of 2021.
