Mr Daniel Lewis

Member

Prior to joining Repton International Schools Ltd, Daniel led the international practice at RSAcademics Ltd across all areas of their services to schools. He has spent the past twenty years working in schools across three continents, in both teaching and leadership roles. Before joining RSAcademics, he led the establishment of North London Collegiate School Dubai and was responsible for the project from its inception: through negotiation of the contract, the design, build and initial marketing, and into the first years of operation as Founding Principal. In just three years he built the school roll to over 800 students, in a highly competitive local market.

In joining Repton International School, Daniel brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in the context of running high-performing schools, and a truly international outlook and instinct. Having led the establishment of international schools for North London Collegiate School in South Korea and the UAE, (as well as successfully leading the bid to establish NLCS in Singapore), he understands well the challenges and needs of start-up projects, particularly those with a pre-existing UK ‘brand’ – with detailed expertise in the areas of licence/management agreement, school design, quality assurance, marketing and admissions, recruitment of staff, and the establishment of a coherent educational vision and ethos.

His breadth of experience in UK independent schools as a teacher and leader is extensive. As a senior member of staff, Daniel has been responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategy and admissions policies and for leading the “Development Office” (fundraising). He has also had responsibility for staff professional development as well as substantial experience in the recruitment of teachers and leaders. He has served as a governor of a Primary school as well as a Multi-Academy Trust.
